Petroleum is a naturally occurring liquid found in rock formations. It consists of a complex mixture of hydrocarbons of various molecular weights, plus other organic compounds. Some chemical compounds made from petroleum are also obtained from other fossil fuels. Petrochemicals are predominantly made in a few manufacturing locations around the world. Petroleum is also the raw material for many chemical products, including pharmaceuticals, solvents, fertilizers, pesticides, synthetic fragrances, and plastics. We focus on bringing out the best quality and original research works from scientists, researchers, postgraduate students, and academia on our online platform
